boogity boogity boogity

Los Massieras have emerged into the light with a debut 12" that fulfils every hope that pops into your mind when you read the sign marked 'Boogity Boogity Boogity'. Jumping headlong into deranged disco, the whole thing drags you down to the floor where you'll be throwing shapes you always knew you had, but struggled to find. The constant focal point of the track is a lick that's like the party that's been going on for days and days, meme years, that you have no hope of ever leaving. Relent and you'll find the most composed element comes from the guitar, masterfully making its way through the bleeps that litter the corridor, the drunks blocking the stairs, before reaching the apex, checking it's hair in the mirror, lighting up and flying off into the sunset. Not bad work from Hugo Capablancas and David Ducarage (of the now defunct Sex in Dallas).

Of their mix for THE FADER, I cannot highly recommend the supernoodling that commences around the 32 minute mark. Buy the damn thing from Discoteca Oceana now.
