meteoric rainbow

Richard D'Alpert and Andrew Claristidge aka Acid Washed are proving adept at building tension on the dancefloor. Coiled-up compacts that open up like lilies, floating downstream directly into your cerebral cortex. Once there, the fireworks start, instigating grins and high-fives all round as the groove embraces you like a long-lost friend. Smiles secreted and numbers get scrawled hastily. Their eponymous debut LP came into this week via birthday boys and girls, Record Makers. It's one long party. And it's just getting started.

Somewhere on the rainbow-scattered horizon,
you can make out their reference points,
the joint below brings to mind a moustachioed Italian 69.
